Peer-Review Process

Papers/articles/translations are subjected to an open peer-review process (OPR). Any of the members of the Advisory Board and one of the editors may be chosen for the purpose after selecting the contributions by one of the editors. Under this policy, we do not remove the name of the author(s) before sending an article to the reviewer(s) because we prefer direct communication between reviewer(s) and author(s) for all kinds of editing/ modification, etc. The editorial decisions are based solely on the quality and relevance of the research topic, without influence from commercial interests, personal biases, or conflicts of interest. We encourage constructive dialogue between authors and reviewers. Authors can better understand reviewers’ comments and respond to them effectively. Reviewers, in turn, may feel more accountable for their critiques. The authors are communicated about gaps, if any, in their papers that require more explanation or additional experiments. The identity of the author and the reviewer is known by all participants, during or after the review process.
